Tucked away on a hilltop, the views from this secret spot are breath-taking, offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding countryside.

2). Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House and Museum

4). Bath Skyline Walk
While there are many different paths and trails to explore around Bath, a lesser-known trail is the three-mile Bath Skyline Walk taking you from the city centre out to the countryside. Follow it for picturesque woodlands, meadows and valley views. Soak up the stunning views, enjoy the tranquillity and if you are lucky spot the wildlife.

5). Prior Park Landscape Garden
If you fancy stretching your legs a little further, Prior Park is a 40-minute walk from the centre of Bath. Tucked away on the hillside, the 18th century landscaped gardens offer stunning views over Bath and feature tranquil ponds and follies. You will also find one of only four Palladian bridges in the world here.
6). Northumberland Place

Today a museum is housed in his former 18th century home, offering an intriguing look into the world of astronomy and the many scientific discoveries made by the Herschel family. His influence on Bath does not stop there, if you are heading to The Thermae Bath Spa, you will find the Celestial Relaxation Room which was inspired by the works of William Herschel.
8). Sydney Gardens
Bath is fortunate to benefit from many gardens and open spaces, although one that is often overlooked is Sydney Gardens. Located at the end of Great Pulteney Street, it is the oldest park in the Bath having been planned in 1795. The Kennet and Avon Canals even runs through the gardens, making it ideal for walking, cycling or just admiring the views.
9). Cleveland Pools
Opening by the end of 2023, a trip to Cleveland Pools is a must. Believed to be one of the oldest outdoor swimming pools in England and first open in 1815, the semi-circular lido has been closed for nearly 40 years. You will find Cleveland Pools on Hampton Row with its entrance almost hidden between two houses. It is hidden oasis tucked along the River Avon, perfect for a refreshing dip during the summer months. Brave swimmers can take a dip in the cold-water pool with a separate smaller pool for children. Once open, it is bound to be a favourite amongst locals and visitors alike.
10). Pop up events
Throughout the year, you can find numerous pop up events celebrating the town – many that are free to take part in. This summer head to Sydney Gardens for the annual Bath Carnival.
