Make your way to the Francis Hotel Spa and into your private ESPURO Thermal Suite. Warm yourself on heated benches, before moving on to your experience shower. Choose between playful cleansing foam or rich, mineral-laden mud. Then comes a 60-minute treatment each.
Float back up for afternoon tea, dinner in Emberwood or the best night’s sleep. Getting here is easy. Leaving will be hard.

Private thermal experience - the only one in England
Enjoy a 45-minute self-guided ritual. Choose between:
- Cleansing foam - a plant-based foam and a longer steam, more playful than practical.
- Nourishing mud - a mineral-rich Rasul mud and a gentler, shorter steam.
A 60-minute treatment for both of you
Choose from:
- Jade facial - a natural facial to refresh and restore.
- Unwind and glow - a relaxing back massage and mini facial.
- Upper body reset - a back, shoulder and head massage to ease tension.
Wake each morning to a delicious breakfast
Choose fruits and yoghurt from our buffet, or a plate piled high with all your favourites.
Yoga in your room
Ask for a yoga kit from reception and switch to the videos on your in-room TV. Early morning or last thing at night. It’s your routine.
Recuperate in our spa lounge
Take the moment after your treatment to rest with a glass of sparkling or a fruit-infused water.
Terms and conditions
Our spa stay for two package is available on two-night stays at the Francis Hotel, Bath. It applies to new bookings on our best available rate and is subject to availability. Stays available from 1st November 2026, excluding 24th December to 1st January 2027. Prices are based on two guests sharing any room type for a minimum two-night stay with breakfast included. Supplements will apply to upgrade your room. Full pre-payment will be taken on booking. Bookings cannot be cancelled, transferred, or refunded. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion. The spa will contact guests to make their appointment and share the available times. If we miss the guest, we will try again. Details will also be left for the guest to contact the spa. The Francis Hotel is a dry spa and does not have a swimming pool nor wet facilities. If guests need to they can contact the spa via email on [email protected] or by calling 01225 473376. Bookings should be made before you arrive to avoid disappointment. Spa appointments and thermal suite experiences are subject to availability and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Our private thermal experience includes steam and is therefore not suitable during pregnancy or for those with heat-sensitive medical conditions.
