Francis Hotel Spa

A treatment has taken your fancy. Great

Our official opening is 9th March and we can't wait.

Before we open, we just ask you to take a few minutes to share your details so our first clients get the very best personalised experience. Because then you might tell all your friends about how good you felt. As soon as we’ve got your form, we’ll be in touch.

Spa FAQ's

Everything you need to know about the spa
Do you have a spa?

The Francis Spa is a haven of tranquillity tucked beneath the Francis Hotel on Queen Square. We offer three boutique treatments rooms, a private thermal experience suite, garden lounge for pre-and post-treatment relaxation, and changing rooms with shower and lockers.

Just a quick note to say that we don’t have a swimming pool but why not try our thermal experience suite? It’s unique to Bath. Click here to explore the spa.

We'll be opening the spa from mid-March.

How do I book a treatment?

Our spa is very popular so we ask you to book in advance to ensure you enjoy the treatment, therapist, and time that suits you best. To make a reservation, please click here

What should I wear for my appointment?

Come as you are. For all treatments we ask you to wear your underwear. If you’ve booked a thermal ritual, you’ll need to bring your swimwear and we recommend flip flops too. Towels and robes can be provided for your comfort, if required.

What is the minimum age for spa treatments?

Our spa welcomes guests aged 18 and above to enjoy the treatments.

What is the spa etiquette?

To preserve the quiet rhythm of the spa and for the comfort of fellow guests, we ask that mobile phones remain on silent during your visit.

Is the spa accessible?

The spa is accessible by lift and includes an accessible treatment room. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us before your visit.

Is there parking?

Our nearest car park is Charlottle Street car park just a short stroll across Queen Square. For directions use BA1 2NE.
