Historical sites

If you are looking for the best views of the city, head to Bath Abbey and climb the 212 steps to the very top of the tower for stunning panoramic views. An impressive sight in its own right, the Gothic church is known for its beautiful stained-glass windows and fan-vaulted ceiling. Do not forget to visit The Roman Baths – they are the city’s most famous attraction, showcasing well-preserved ruins of one of the greatest religious spas of the ancient world. Although you cannot take a dip in them, you can still experience Bath’s natural thermal waters just like the Romans did at the nearby Thermae Bath Spa.
