Mornings unfold gently with leisurely breakfast, and one unhurried afternoon is set aside for coffee, cake and uninterrupted time with your chosen read. Calm and personal, this is a stay shaped around stillness, comfort and the pleasure of getting lost in a good book.

A book chosen just for you
Our friends at Mr B’s Emporium, just around the corner, will personally select a bespoke book for you, guided by your responses to the pre-stay questionnaire. It will be waiting in your room upon arrival.
Coffee, cake and quiet time
On one afternoon of your stay, settle in with your book in the lounge, bar, terrace or bedroom and enjoy a slice of cake from our dessert trolley, served with a pot of tea or coffee, an unhurried moment made for reading and stillness.
Terms and conditions
This offer is based on two guests sharing a room for a minimum stay of two nights. Full prepayment is required at the time of booking and the offer is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. To ensure your personally selected book is waiting for you on check-in, we ask that your pre-stay questionnaire is completed at least five days before arrival. To arrange your book, we will share your name, arrival date and questionnaire responses with Mr B’s only; your email address and telephone number will not be shared.
