From the Hearth
Simple cooking over natural flame honours the freshness and quality of local seasonal produce.
À la carte
Choose two or three courses for a traditional dining experience, or mix and match sharing plates and sides to create your own feast.

From the Garden
With the same fire-led approach, the vegan menu brings bold, seasonal ingredients to the table.
Choose from small plates or mains that celebrate heritage vegetables and salads from South West farmers. Every dish is locally sourced, and the menu shifts with the seasons.

Something sweet awaits
Desserts at Emberwood are made to linger over. Choose from Tarte Tatin with lemon thyme ice cream or a board of local cheeses.
Then comes the showstopper. The dessert trolley is wheeled to your table, filled with creations from our Chef Pâtissier Dominique. A little theatre and a lot of pleasure.

Our history
Where silver sparks Emberwood’s warmth
Part of Emberwood finds its roots here at No. 5 where history shapes our present. In the late 19th century John Dafter Harris, a skilled silversmith and jeweller, lived here, his craftsmanship inspiring the silver touches in our service today. Later the property became home to Florence Meredith David, an antiques dealer whose appreciation for the past mirrors our own.
In the 1920s, No. 5 was also home to the Service Match Industry (Eastern) Limited, a match manufacturing company whose legacy inspired Emberwood’s iconic matchstick emblem and the welcoming warmth of our open hearth.
Dine with us in Emberwood and feel the spark of history and craftsmanship that continues to light your stay.
